Juliene R. Hefter, MSOLQ

Aquatic Consultant and Founder of Safety First Aquatics, LLC

Juliene Hefter is the Founder of Safety First Aquatics, LLC.  She is the Deputy Director for the Wisconsin Park & Recreation Association.  Juliene received her Bachelor of Science in Recreational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, and holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Quality. 

Her background in aquatics includes, but is not limited to: American Red Cross: Lifeguarding, Swim Instruction, Lifeguard Training Instructor Trainer, Water Safety Instructor Trainer, Swim Coach at the Age Group and High School Level as well as being an instructor in Safety Training for Swim Coaches.  She was an Aquatic Director at various aquatic facilities including, riverfront beaches, an 80,000 square foot lake, pools and water parks.  Juliene is currently sitting on the American Red Cross Sounding Board for the development of the New ARC Lifeguarding Program.

		Safety First Aquatics, LLC provides consultation work on various topics. This consultation work includes expert witness services, management and development services, or additional safety development at your facility.
		Various educational training sessions are offered through Safety First Aquatics.  Whether you are interested in staff training, motivational sessions, customer service, marketing, or
		Safety First Aquatics also provides training in Aquatic Facility Management.  The AFO course is offered through the National Recreation and Park Association.
